The Alcohol Challenge: Embedding Evidence Based Approaches in Hospital Settings
Balance, Public Health England and the North East Liver Network supported by NHS England Clinical Networks are organizing a conference which will take place on Friday 16th January 2015 at Ramside Hall Hotel in Durham.
“The Alcohol Challenge: Embedding Evidence Based Approaches in Hospital Settings” event will feature a range of high profile speakers, including Professor Nick Sheron (Clinical Hepatologist, Southampton General Hospital) and Dr. Mark Hudson (President of the British Association for the Study of the Liver). It will explore the latest, most effective and evidence-based approaches to identification and management of alcohol-related conditions within hospital settings and is aimed at commissioners, clinicians & managers from a variety of NHS settings; notably Hospital Trusts, Public Health Teams, Clinical Commissioning Groups, NHS England, Primary Care and specialist alcohol services.
